A Strange and Stubborn Endurance: Gay Forced Proximity Lovefest
This was a treat of a slow burn, enemies to lovers, and triumph story. It has me blushing with the advances Cae and Velasin made as they grew together as partners. The story was more focused on the romance and world building than an actual story. Oftentimes the stakes felt very superficial and the twist and ending I could see from a mile away. From page 104 I could tell how the story would go and end. But, that is what I find good in a comfort story. This was still a very very good book and something I would read again. I treasure the characters above anything and each of their perspectives was intricate and adorable as ever. I just feel this story could have been told in 400 pages or less not 500+. Overall my rating for this book is a 4/5.
